Coping Strategies of University EFL Teachers for Online Instruction during COVID-19 in Nepal

This paper aims at exploring the perceptions, and practices of University EFL teachers in Nepal, particularly challenges found strategies adopted to deal with teaching English through online instruction during pandemic. The in-depth unstructured interview as a research tool under narrative inquiry has been employed collect data while concept thematic analysis by Riessman exploited analyze interpret collected data. finding reveals that despite technological inefficiency, social barriers, psychological fear underwent initial phase, subsequent classes some coping such self-initiation, self-discovery, cooperative approach have profoundly effective productive both for students. It also is truly materialized theoretical idea-ELT ICT into application make language proceed ahead IT. Such EF pandemic lockdown forcefully shifted paradigm from chalk-and-talk instructor-centered digtal interactive learner-centered.
